The twelve Villas de Beau Rivage are split into three different categories, all airy and generously open to nature, with stunning views on the lagoon, the coral barrier and the Indian Ocean. 8 Ocean Villas (160 sq metres)

The 8 Ocean Villas face the ocean and offer the same features as the other Villas, but benefit from a private walkway leading to the beach. They are slightly smaller, with a floor area of 160 sq metres but offer the same degree of privacy. Guests will be instantly seduced by the warm and intimate décor as well as the spacious rooms within. The rich granite bathroom and its sunken bath, along with the glazed bay directly accessing the private swimming pool, are simply superb.

2 Seafront Villas (180 sq metres) with one room

The 2 Beachfront Villas offer a spacious bedroom, with direct access to the beach from the private garden. The magnificent Indian Ocean view is omnipresent throughout the Villa, due to the large glazed bays in the lounge, dining room and the bedroom. The distinctive bathroom seems to flow into the ocean and, from the bath, one can dreamily enjoy the silvery moon rising over the ocean or the majestic sunrise - unique unforgettable moments of communion with the beauty of Mauritius. These Villas are ideal hide-aways for honeymoons or birthday celebrations. The straw shelter on the patio is an ideal place for tête-à-tête romantic meals.

2 Prestige Villas (255 sq metres)

The larger Prestige Villas are set back for maximum privacy. Slightly raised, with a private swimming pool, they cover an area of 255 sq metres, with a garden area and a private patio. Distinguishly exclusive, these Villas offer two bedrooms and an exhilarating feeling of freedom and space. The master bathroom comprises a whirl bath and accesses a small inner garden with an outdoor shower. The two rooms are very bright and airy and open up onto the private garden and swimming pool. The warm and orange-red colour scheme conveys a convivial atmosphere to the Villas, which are ideal get-aways for holidays with the family or a couple of friends.

The Villas

Although the layout and the fittings of the Villas are similar, the decoration and design vary from one to another, depending on the category.

Rooms

The bedrooms are spacious and furnished in colonial style, with subtle touches of Indian, Chinese and African style.

Daylight softly filters through wooden blinds into the room. An ottoman at the foot of the canopy bed, blue Chinese porcelain ware on an antique period chest, a poster of the ancient Mauritius on the wall, reminiscent of old times....Facing the bed, a LCD TV screen with built-in DVD player sits on a Chinese chest. An antique writing desk is installed in a corner of the room, for writing your thoughts or correspondence. The Prestige Villa bedrooms look out over the gardens and are spacious enough to accommodate child beds and a cot. All main bedrooms have king size beds and the second bedroom has twin beds and its own en suite bathroom

Lounge and Dining Room

Indian paintings from a Mauritian artist adorn the walls and touches of various continents and periods are scattered around. A Chinese sideboard here, an African lamp mounted on buffalo-horn base there, a Chinese armchair and furnishing fabrics with cashmere designs... an attractive, relaxing living area which leads on to the paved terrace and the pool.

Bathrooms

The sumptuous black granite flooring lends a feeling of elegance to the light, spacious bathroom, with its transparent round-shaped washbasins. The showers and toilets are separated. The view from the bath of the Ocean View Villas extends over to the pool, whilst that from the oval bath set in the Seafront Villas looks over the ocean. As for the Prestige Villas, the view from the bath is on the gardens.

Gardens

Each private garden has its pool, bordered with dark stonework and an outdoor shower. Large wooden sun loungers are scattered around the pool. The wooden gazebo is furnished with a table and four chairs, an ideal setting for a romantic dinner or an "at home" massage session. In the Seafront Villas, the gazebo overlooks an infinity pool, which seems to merge into the sea.
